I would multiply by -4 on both sides to make the 1st term positive and get rid of the fraction

x -4y = -8

Find the slope of the line that crosses through the points (-3, -4) and (2, -3).

slope = (y2-y1)/(x2-x1)

m = (-3--4)/(2--3)

m = (-3+4)/(2+3)

m =(1/5)
