Answer;

-Thoracolumbar origin, short preganglionic fiber, ACh release at ganglion, long postganglionic fiber, NE release at effector.

Explanation;

-The sympathetic nervous system is part of the autonomic nervous system, which also includes the parasympathetic nervous system. The sympathetic nervous system activates what is often termed the fight or flight response. The sympathetic nervous system operates through a series of interconnected neurons.

-In the sympathetic system, postganglionic are not all the same. Most sympathetic postganglionic neurons are adrenergic, but a few are cholinergic, such as the ones to sweat glands and to smooth muscles of certain blood vessels.

-In the cholinergic synapse, released acetylcholine is degraded down by the enzyme acetylcholinesterase, or reabsorbed into the preganglionic neuron. In the adrenergic synapse, released norepinephrine is either reabsorbed into the preganglionic neuron or degraded by catechol-o-methyl transferase enzyme.

Sympathetic nervous system accelerates the heart rate, decrease movement of the large intestine, and perspiration. The sympathetic pathway is arranged in sequence which is: craniosacral origin, short preganglionic fiber, ACh release at ganglion, long postganglionic fiber, ACh release at effector. The identical pathways of the axon in sympathetic preganglionic are ventral root, spinal nerve, ramus commucans, and sympathetic trunk.

How does recombination contribute to offspring diversity?A. It modifies chromosomes to generate new alleles of genes that code f
omeli [17]

Answer: D. It yields chromosomes that contain both maternal and paternal DNA.

Explanation:

The recombination or crossing over is a genetic process. It takes place during the Prophase I of meiosis. The homologous pair align and held together by synapsis. This results in the mixture of genes combination formed from both parents that can be represented as a single chromosome.

If the recombination do not occur then each chromosome will be either 100% maternal or paternal. Thus recombination assures the recombinant chromosomes which consists of genetic material from both parents. Thus the genetic diversity of offspring increases.

gayaneshka [121]

Answer:Curare molecules have a chemical structure like the neurotransmitter ACh. Curare can bind to the ACh receptor site on the chemically gated ion channels in the motor end plate. Even though curare will bind to the receptor site it will not open the ion channel and no ions will pass through. hope this helps ! :)
