Dear Greg I think you need to start small then go bigger on the excersise. You don't need to rush on the process and you should be careful.Take everything slow. You should work hard but not to the point where you get hurt again or more and remember to stretch before you exercise. Also you should run shorter distances and then later increase the number of miles or laps you is running.
