You are planning to get some goats out on your ranch property and would like to keep them confined to a certain area to keep the

weeds down. How tall of a fence (minimum) would likely be required to keep the goats confined?

Answer: At least six feet tall because goats can jump that high. I would personally go with eight feet because my neighbor's goats have nearly jumped fences that were at least six feet tall.
