The Contras were a rebel group fighting against Nicaragua.

The Contras were right-wing rebels (guarillas) who opposed the socialist government in Nicaragua. They were active from 1979 to 1990.

The Contras carried out assassinations of government officials, blew up several strategic bridges and planted mines in Nicaragua's piers to prevent arms shipments to the ports. They committed a large number of human rights violations and used terrorist tactics.

They received financial and military support from the United States government. The support was later stopped by the Congress but the Reagan administration continued with this activity which culminated in the Iran-Contras affair.

How do we learn the behaviors, attitudes, and other aspects of our culture?
Gala2k [10]

We learn behaviors, attitudes and any other aspects of our culture through domestic education in early childhood.  Most forms are accepted at that age, even unconscious. Upgrading is done later, through life, through education, self-education, personal interests of the hobby. What is embedded in an early childhood is necessarily manifest later in life. Children can learn through different stories, later through schooling, lectures, but the most important thing is what children see, as the actions of adults, in the first place, parents, later teachers, the environment, the dominant social group, friends, employers, etc.  Everyone can say that he adopts what he hears and what he learns, but what comes out of the subconscious as a pattern is what we see around us.

Who is Daniel Inouye?
Marizza181 [45]
<span>The son of Japanese immigrants, Daniel Ken Inouye volunteered for the U.S. Army after the Pearl Harbor attack in 1941 and joined the famed Japanese-American 442nd Regimental Combat Team. He lost his right arm in a firefight with Germans in Italy in 1945, and would win the Distinguished Service Cross--and belatedly, the Medal of Honor--for his war service. Elected to the House of Representatives as a Democrat in 1959, the year Hawaii became a state, Inouye entered the Senate in 1963. Over his long career, he was a steadfast voice for his state in Washington and drew national attention for his quiet but courageous leadership on high-profile Senate committees investigating the Watergate scandal and the Iran-Contra affair. At the time of his death, Inouye was the longest-serving current U.S. senator, having been elected to nine consecutive terms over 49 years.

All sages provide both wisdom and inspiration. Since Dashaâs speech contained wisdom and greatly inspired her audience, Dasha is
aksik [14]

Answer:

c. Just because Dasha satisfied two requirements of being a sage doesnât necessarily mean that she satisfies all the requirements of being a sage.

Explanation:

This can be explained by perspective of Western Logic.

Let : Sages = S ; Wise & Inspiring = P

'All sages provide wisdom & inspiration' implies 'All S are P'

But 'All S are P' doesn't necessarily imply 'All P are S'

So : 'All saints are wise & inspiring people' doesn't necessarily imply 'All wise & inspiring people are saints'

Therefore : Dasha, being a wise & inspiring person doesn't garauntee that  she is a saint. Hence, wisdom & inspiration satisfy only two requirements of being a sage doesn't necessarily mean that she satisfies all the requirements of being a sage.
