Answer:

Option B, If worms can survive living near underwater volcano vents, then life can thrive in hot environments because worms are

good indicators of life.

Explanation:

Any thing will lead to further investigation , as such things have not been explored earlier.

Scientist have discovered several microbes or unicellular organisms that can sustain high temperature conditions but ti ll date no pests has been discovered which can survive in extreme climatic condition.

Thus, the discovery of such worm is a new discovery as it require further investigation and potential theory.

Thus, option B is correct

Answer:

Geological events can cause drastic changes over long periods of times

Explanation:

He used these insights and stated that Geological events can cause drastic changes over long periods of time. Such changes can cause entire species to become extinct or cause drastic evolutionary physical changes to other species. This is because the environment changes and the animals living in these environments need to adapt in order to be able to survive. Some changes such as continental drift can even move species to different parts of the world where the climate is drastically different.

Describe the earth’s geography and atmosphere during this time period. What major events happened to help shape the earth during
Luba_88 [7]

The geological history of Earth follows the major events in Earth's past based on the geological time scale, a system of chronological measurement based on the study of the planet's rock layers (stratigraphy). Earth formed about 4.54 billion years ago by accretion from the solar nebula, a disk-shaped mass of dust and gas left over from the formation of the Sun, which also created the rest of the Solar System.

Earth was initially molten due to extreme volcanism and frequent collisions with other bodies. Eventually, the outer layer of the planet cooled to form a solid crust when water began accumulating in the atmosphere. The Moon formed soon afterwards, possibly as a result of the impact of a planetoid with the Earth. Outgassing and volcanic activity produced the primordial atmosphere. Condensing water vapor, augmented by ice delivered from comets, produced the oceans.

As the surface continually reshaped itself over hundreds of millions of years, continents formed and broke apart. They migrated across the surface, occasionally combining to form a supercontinent. Roughly 750 million years ago, the earliest-known supercontinent Rodinia, began to break apart. The continents later recombined to form Pannotia, 600 to 540 million years ago, then finally Pangaea, which broke apart 200 million years ago.

The present pattern of ice ages began about 40 million years ago, then intensified at the end of the Pliocene. The polar regions have since undergone repeated cycles of glaciation and thaw, repeating every 40,000–100,000 years. The last glacial period of the current ice age ended about 10,000 years ago

Which of the following most significantly determines a community's access to potable water?
Solnce55 [7]

Answer:

The correct option is B) the availability of money

Explanation:

Potable water can be described as the water which is safe to drink. Nowadays, with the rapid industrialization progress, it is important to process water so that it can be used for human consumption. The processing of water to make it clean enough requires money. The more money a community will have, the more machinery and plants it will be able to set up for the processing of water.
