Answer:

Virtual learning will help me grow as a student by forcing me to step out of my comfort zone and explore different learning opportunities. Learning online is a challenge that I hope to overcome. Even though school will be very different, I know that this is just a learning curve that will help me become a better student and person overall.

Point mutations resulting in a single amino acid substitution provided evidence that: Select one: A. The genetic code is a tripl
mel-nik [20]

Answer:

C. The genetic code is not overlapping.

Explanation:

The genetic code is nonoverlapping because each nucleotide can be part of only one codon or 'codeword' during protein synthesis. Therefore, a particular point mutation in the nucleotide sequence can result in only one amino acid modification. A nonoverlapping genetic code indicates that the same letter (i.e., the same nucleotide) can not be used for two different codons. The non-overlapping nature of the genetic code was discovered by Tsugita and Fraenkel-Conrat (1960) by observing point mutations in the tobacco mosaic virus.

Inflammation of diverticula from trapped fecal material results in diverticulosis.
lozanna [386]
True. Inflammation can result when fecal matter gets trapped inside openings in the diverticula. Various types of obstruction can also block the pouches' openings. This would reduce blood supply, causing inflammation.
