Answer: B. burning in an incinerator

Incineration is a waste management process in which the wastes materials are burned at high temperatures such that the waste gets decomposed into simple residues such as ash.  Incinerator is a waste deposing device. The incinerator although disposes of wastes but it contaminates the surrounding air with pollutants like heavy metals, sulfur dioxide, hydrochloric acids and others produced in the incineration process.
