Answer:The based on this information interaction between these two species can best be described as COMPETITION. Correct option is B

Explanation:

Competition occurs between two species that shares the same requirements ( especially food) for survival.

Both the Western Toad and the Bull Frog has a similar niche because they require the same type of food (beetles, bees, and small aquatic insects) to survive in the environment of Arroyo Seco. Only one of the species will coexist in that environment and it's usually the survival of the fittest.

This explains the competitive exclusion principle proposed by Georgii Gause in 1934.

One example of poaching that is prevalent in your area
Gnom [1K]
Poaching of the tiger is very common in India and has very badly affected the population of the tiger. They are mainly slaughtered for their skin, bones, burnt hair, whiskers, etc. Poaching of other animals such as elephants, lions, etc is also very common. It's a shame on human beings to kill animals for their selfish motives.

Why a plant which is left in the dark for a long period of time will test negative for starch?
Zanzabum
When a plant is left in dark for several hours, it does not get sunlight. Isn't it?
When a plant does not get sunlight, it cannot prepare food for itself , i.e, photosynthesis does not take place. When it does not prepare food in the form of starch, it will test negative for it.

hope it helps!
