 <span>Industries were growing, making more weapons/supplies for war, women took over the jobs in the factories. 
Internment camps housed Japanese American out of fear of spies and terrorists, in 1988 there was an apology sent out with $20,000 to any surviving Japanese American who had to deal with these conditions. 
The Holocust was not just Jews, it was also gypsies, people who didnot have blonde hair or blue eyes, handicapped, and other minorities.

The main differences are the territory (Mexico almost 750 thousand sq mi whereas Kentucky 40 thousand sq mi), climate, topography, and biodiversity.
