Width of the rectangular window = 5 feet

Length of the rectangular window = 12 feet.

Length of one of the diagonals is = 13 feet

As it is a rectangle, both the diagonals are equal, so other one will also be 13 feet. Or we can solve it by using Pythagoras theorem.

Let the supposed diagonal be = d

d^{2}=5^{2} +12^{2}

d^{2} =25+144

d^{2} =169

d=13

Hence, the length of the diagonal will be 13 feet.

The other diagonal would be 13 feet as well because it is a rectangle.

Solve for x<br> Thanks in advance :)
uranmaximum [27]

Answer:

x = 25

Step-by-step explanation:

Here's my work. Basically, I knew that the x in angle A is alternate interior to angle C, so they would both be x. the 50 degrees is one a 180 degree line, so the inside of the triangle DCB is 130. X must equal x, so they would both be 25 degrees.

In if GS ⊥ XJ and XJ⊥EA what is true about GS and EA
svlad2 [7]

Answer:

(GS) || (EA)

Step-by-step explanation:

When two lines are parallel, all four angles formed by the intersection of the two lines are right angles, meaning their angle measures are (90°). This means that alternate interior angles are congruent because all alternate interior angles measures equal (90°). Therefore, by the alternate interior angles converse theorem, lines (GS) and (EA) are parallel.

The alternate interior angles converse theorem states if two angles are congruent and they have the relation of being a part of two lines intersected by a third line, then the two non-intersecting lines are parallel.

1. Which equation can you use to find the value of x?
Alika [10]

Answer:

It's a proportion.

2 is to x as 15 is to 9, or 2/x = 15/9.

Multiply the means and extremes

15x = 18

divide both sides by 15 to get x by itself.

x = 1.2
