7 -> 14 either added 7 or multiplied by 2
14 -> 8 subracted 6
8 -> 16 either added 8 or multplied by 2

10 -> 20 added 10 or multiplied by 2.
The pattern seems to be multiply by 2, then subtract 6, repeat.
