Decrease £680 by 10%

Two ways to do it.
1
if we decrease 10%, then we'll have the 90% of the original, so we have:
= 680(90%)
= 680(90/100)
= 612
then 612 is 680 decreased by 10%

2
what is the 10% of 680, call it y?, then reduce it from 680
y = 10%(680) = (10/100)(680) = 68
So, to decrease 680 by 10%, we subtract 680 - 68 = 612

C = 700 dólares

i  = ???

t = 90/360 = 0.25 (Expresado en años)

I = C*i * t

i = I / C*t

i = 63/ (0.25*700)

i = 0.36

R/ Debe elegir una tasa de interés de 36% anual.

Kyla can plant 300 trees in 1 hour
attashe74 [19]

We have to find out the number of trees planted per unit rate of time.

Kyla can plant 300 trees in 1 hour, so she can plant 300 trees in 3600 seconds. This implies that she can plant

\dfrac{300}{3600}=\dfrac{1}{12}

trees per second.

On the other hand, Mia can plant 1 tree in 13 seconds, so she can plant

\dfrac{1}{13}

trees per second.

Working together they can plant

\dfrac{1}{12}+\dfrac{1}{13}=\dfrac{25}{156}

trees per second, i.e. it takes them 156/25 seconds to plant a tree.

We conclude that they plany 100 trees in

\dfrac{156}{25}\cdot 100=156\cdot 4=624

seconds

Jackie rolled a number cube 20 times. She rolled an odd number 8 times. What is the experimental probability, and what is Theore
V125BC [204]
Based on the information given...

Experimental - how many times something occurs over how many times experiment is done

Odd number rolled - 8 times

Total times done - 20

This would mean the experimental probability is 8/20

Theoretical - favorable outcomes over possible outcomes

On a 6 sided number cube, you have 3 chances of rolling an odd, over 6 possible roll outcomes

This would mean the theoretical probability is 3/6 or 1/2
