So I have the formula for the reflection over the x-axis is from (x,y) to (x,-y), and the reflection for the y-axis is (-x,y). Next, I have the original for A(2,-2), B(2,-6), and (9,-6) which is reflection over x-axis which is A(2,2), B(2,6), and C(9,6). Then, I have A(-2,-2), B(-2,-6), and C(-9,-6) for the reflection over the y-axis. Hope it help!

132 days to 125.4 days percent of change
Evgen [1.6K]

Answer:

132 days to 125.4 days percent of change

Step-by-step explanation:

p= N-O/O x 100% where p is the percent change, is the New value and O is

the Old value. We are given the Old value (132) and the New value (125.4) which we can substitute into the formula to calculate the percent change:

p= 125.4-132/132 x 100%

p= -6.6/132 x 100%

p= (-660/132%)

p= -5%

A scale drawing of a square has a side length of 6 millimeters. The drawing has a scale of 1 mm : 7 km. Find the actual perimete
zvonat [6]

Answer:

The real perimeter is:

P= 24 mm *\frac{7 km}{1mm}= 168 km

And the area would be:

P = 36mm^2 *\frac{(7km)^2}{(1mm)^2} = 1764 km^2

Step-by-step explanation:

For this case we know one side of a square given 6mm.

We can begin calculating the perimeter for the scale figure with this formula:

P = 4x = 4*6 mm =24 mm

The area for this case is given by:

A = x^2 = 6mm^2 = 36 mm^2

And we know that the drawing has a scale of 1 mm : 7 km and if we convert the perimeter to km we got:

P= 24 mm *\frac{7 km}{1mm}= 168 km

And the area would be:

P = 36mm^2 *\frac{(7km)^2}{(1mm)^2} = 1764 km^2

Of the 52 cards in the deck, four are aces and others (kings, queens, jacks, and tens) are worth 10 points each. The dealer has
VLD [36.1K]

Answer:

64 different black jack hands

Step-by-step explanation:

there are 4 aces in a deck, and you can score a blackjack if any of these 4 aces is paired with any of the 16 different cards that are worth 10 points. Total number of different blackjack combinations = 4 aces x 16 different tens = 64.

Even though the number of possible blackjack hands might seem large, the possibilities of actually getting one are really low:

possibility of getting 1 ace = 4/52 = 1/13

possibility of getting 1 ten = 16/51

possibility of getting a blackjack = 16 / 663

if you start with the 10 first the odds are the same:

possibility of getting 1 ten = 16/52 = 4/13

possibility of getting 1 ace = 4/51

possibility of getting a blackjack = 16 / 663
