6 7/8= 55/8
6 1/6= 7/6
first find common denominators
55/8 * 3= 165/24
7/6 * 4= 28/24
165/24 divided by 28/24 is the same as 165/24 time 24/28
so that equals 3960/672
which equals 5.8928
so estimates about 5 shelves<span />

Functions of quantity 1/2 of 10 - 1/4 of 20 - 1/6 of 30
Bogdan [553]

Answer:

5 is the answer for them all

Step-by-step explanation:

To find half of 10, you can divide it by the denominator (2).

10 ÷ 2 = 5

You do the same thing with the other two. Divide 20 by 4.

20 ÷ 4 = 5

And divide 30 by 6.

30 ÷ 6 = 5

For the following right triangle, find the side length x. Round your answer to the nearest hundredth. Side 15 bottom x 25 upper
sattari [20]

Answer:

x = 20

Step-by-step explanation:

To do this question, you can use the pythagorean theorem.  c is your hypotenuse, a is the unknown side length and b is the known side length.

a^2+b^2=c^2

x^2+15^2=25^2

x^2=225=625

x^2=400

(x^2)^(1/2)=400^(1/2)

x = 20

Solve the math problem
Ray Of Light [21]

Answer:

2) a.   slope = 4/3

2) b.   slope = -4

Step-by-step explanation:

The slope of the line that passes through points

(x_1, y_1)  and  (x_2, y_2)

is m, given by the slope formula below:

m = \dfrac{y_1 - y_2}{x_2 - x_1}

2) a. (30, 32) and (18, 16)

m = \dfrac{y_1 - y_2}{x_2 - x_1}

m = \dfrac{32 - 16}{30 - 18}

m = \dfrac{16}{12}

m = \dfrac{4}{3}

2) b. (4, -26) and (10, -50)

m = \dfrac{y_1 - y_2}{x_2 - x_1}

m = \dfrac{-50 - (-26)}{10 - 4}

m = \dfrac{-24}{6}

m = -4
