The trusts were slowly beginning to end because of the Federal Trade Commission Act of 1914 and Clayton Anti-Trust Act of 1914 that was meant to end monopolies in businesses. The banks were reformed with the Federal Reserve Act of 1913 which is still used today, only modified.
