How do you solve 6 3/4 - 2 3/12

6-2=4. Easy. Half the question is done. 3/4-3/12=1/2. Why? 3/4 is equal to 9/12 and 9/12-3/12 is 6/12, and 6/12 is 1/2. So, in conclusion, the answer is 4 1/2.
