A dominant gene is a type of gene which dominates in the inheritance pattern and masks the other one, on the other hand, a recessive gene is that which does not show its trait in inheritance pattern and hidden by the dominant one. A dominant gene is stronger gene while the recessive gene is a week gene. Dominant gene is always expressed in the upper case letters like A, F, V whereas recessive gene is always denoted by the lower case letters like a, f and v. dominant gene show in the inheritance when one of the two genes is dominant but in case of recessive gene both the genes of a trait should be recessive.

Traits you get from your parents. Inherited features evolve due to genetic material rearrangement and mutation. The parents transfer those traits (inherited) to their offspring. These aren't dying but passed on to the next generation. Example: earlobe attached or free, and curly hair.

An acquired characteristic is a non-heritable change in a function or structure of a living organism caused after birth by disease, injury, accident, deliberate modification, variation, repeated use, disuse, misuse, or other environmental influence. Acquired traits are synonymous with acquired characteristics. They are not passed on to offspring through reproduction.

The answer is yes as well as no, because some prokaryotes like Archeae and some bacteria donot use cellular respiration because they are anaerobic. The Archaea are also known as Methanogens that reduce Carbon di oxide from environment to Methane that is eventually oxidized to NADH (that is used as an energy source).

However, there are some bacteria that use cellular respiration as a source for the energy production.Cellular respiration is a process which occurs in the cells of higher living organisms as well as in cells of some small organisms like Bacteria. During process of cellular respiration in bacteria, glucose is broken down with the help of oxygen into water and Carbon di oxide. In the process of cellular respiration, bacteria just like humans goes through three stepsi.e Glycolysis, Kreb cycle and Electron transport chain that ultimately lead to the production of ATP (energy).
