Friend eats 150 apples because 2/5 is 150 of 375 apples.

I eat 225 apples because 3/5 is 225 of 375 apples.

Hope this helps. P.s: these are a lot of apples. I think the person who wrote this question and their friend must love apples. lol

On one of the Tigers’ plays, Terrence thought they went for +3 yards, but his father told him they actually lost three yards. Wh
stealth61 [152]

−1

Explanation:

Let's say the set of downs starts at the 20 yard line (maybe the kicking team kicked deep, the receiving team took a knee and so play starts at the 20).

Ok - we're at the 20. First down - they advance 5 yards. So we're now at the 25. We can write that mathematically as:

20 + 5= 25

So the second play they get sacked deep and lose 6 yards. So we subtract 6:

25 − 6=19

So what's the change in yardage for the 2 plays? We are on the 19 and started at the 20, so we can write:

19 − 20= −1

and this makes sense because we know we advanced 5 and fell back 6:

+5 −6 = −1

If a 45 45 90 triangle has the hypothenuse of 10 what would the legs x and y be
melamori03 [73]

Answer:

Step-by-step explanation:

When working with 45-45-90 triangles the hypotenuse is the same as the other legs multiplied by root 2. Therefore if you need to find the legs and already have the hypotenuse, divide the hypotenuse by root 2.

10/ sqrt(2) = 7.1 is the rounded answer.

to double check your work just multiply 7.1 by the square root of 2 and you'll get close to 10. (because the answer is rounded and not exact.)

Find each unit rate.
4/5of a chapter in 3/10 hour
ZanzabumX [31]

Answer:

8/3mph

Step-by-step explanation:

you must multiply both fractions by the reciprocal of 3/10 which is 10/3

(4/5 * 10/3) / (3/10 * 10/3)

(40/15) / (30/30)

(8/3) / 1

8/3 /1 = 8/3
