Answer:

If there is less water in the bottle, then the note played is lower because there is more air to move around.

Explanation:

We know that sound waves are mechanical waves, because they only propagate through an elastic and deformable material medium. It is common to hear various types of sounds in our daily lives, and this feature is directly linked to the frequency of sound.

With this we can conclude that depending on the amount of water put into the bottles, when we blow at the top of these bottles a kind of sound will be produced. The less water the lower, the sound comes out, because there is more air for the sound to move. And the more water in the bottle, the higher the sound will be.

Describe what happens to the system inside of a refrigerator or freezer in terms of heat transfer, work, and conservation of ene
Over [174]

Answer: A. Work is done on the system and heat is transferred from the system for a net decrease in internal energy.

Explanation:

A refrigerator is a device which dispenses heat from the close system to a warmer area or in the surrounding. By dispensing the heat the internal temperature of the refrigerator drops. The system of refrigerator violates the second law of thermodynamics. As it performs the work to cool the region instead of heating the region. The work is done on the system and the internal energy decreases and the heat energy is liberated to the surrounding area. A refrigerator is an open system.

Suppose if you whirl a yo-yo about your head in a horizontal circle. in what direction must a force act on the yoyo? What exerts
Rudiy27

Answer:

Direction of force towards the center and string apply the force.

Explanation:

Lets take

Mass of yo-yo =m

Length of string = L

Angular speed = ω

The radial acceleration a = ω² L

Then the radial force on the yo yo given as

F = m ω² L

Then this radial force act towards the center of the circle formed by yo- yo.The force exerted by string.

So the direction of force towards the center and string apply the force.

What should a voltmeter that is attached to three batteries, each measuring 1.5 volts read:
Pie

Answer:

The answer depends on the arrangement of the batteries either parallel or series.

If the three batteries are connected in parallel, the voltmeter will read the same voltage as the individual battery (I.e, the combine voltage will remain 1.5 Bolts)

While

If the batteries are connected in series, and are correctly connected together from positive to negative, the combine voltages will increase by adding individual battery voltage together. So for three 1.5 Volts batteries, the total voltages will be 4.5 Volts.

Explanation:

Parallel connected

Vp = 1.5 Volts

Series connection

Vs = 1.5 + 1.5 + 1.5 = 4.5Volts
