The slope of the given line is \frac{-5}{4}

Step-by-step explanation:

Given:

The Two points are (3,11) and (7,6)

To Find:

The slope of the line passes though the points

Formula to be used:

m = \frac{y_{2} -y_{1} }{x_{2}-x_{1}}

Solution:

Let "m" be the slope of the points (x_{1} y_{1}) and (x_{2} y_{2}) respectively,

Where x_{1}= 3, x_{2}= 7 , y_{1}= 11 ,y_{2} = 6

Substituting all the above values in the slope formula,we get

m=\frac{6-11}{7-3} =\frac{-5}{4}

The slope m = \frac{-5}{4}

Hence, the slope of the line is \frac{-5}{4}
