Use human rights in a sentence
Stolb23 [73]
Human rights are the essential rights and flexibilities that have a place with each individual on the planet, from birth until death. They apply paying little heed to where you are from, what you accept or how you carry on with your life. They can never be taken away, in spite of the fact that they can at times be limited – for instance if a man infringes upon the law, or in light of a legitimate concern for national security.

What are some possible advantages of having only two powerful political parties?
Serjik [45]
I can think of one advantage: if this party wins, it will have a majority in the parliament and senate, so it will be have more power and would not have to negotiate every voting with the other party in the coalition.

In a multiple party when coalitions , the smaller party in the coalition usually gets proportionately much more power because it can "blackmail" the bigger partner; this often stalls the voting process.

Sunny_sXe [5.5K]

Emergency response experts recommend that you should be prepared to take care of yourself (and those that depend on you) in your home for approximately 72 hours after a major disaster.

How long should you be able to take care of yourself in an emergency?

When an emergency such as a hurricane strikes, emergency response experts recommend that one should be able to take care of themselves and their dependents for at least 72 hours.

This is based on the belief that in the United States, emergency services will respond to people within 72 hours after an emergency.
