answer for brainleist Transportation in the Nineteenth Century Roads, rivers, and railroads connected different regions of the U

nited States together. These modes of transportation allowed people to move away from the country’s coast lines. Railroads grew quickly in the nineteenth century. Between 1860 and 1880, railroad lines tripled. They went from covering 30,000 miles to 90,000 miles. The Transcontinental Railroad was finished in 1869. This was the first railroad that connected the east and west coasts of the United States. By the year 1900, there was a nationwide network of railroads. This made shipping and transportation easier. Railroads contributed to industrial growth and to an increased demand for goods. 5 Select all the correct answers. The author wants to add additional information about transportation in the nineteenth century to the passage. Which three sentences could the author add? Electric trolley cars were developed in the 1860s. These trolley cars made it much easier for people to travel within large cities. Many people traveled along rivers on steamboats. By 1830, steamboats were a major mode of transportation. In 1960, many railroad companies were having financial trouble because the number of train passengers began declining. By this time, more people were traveling across the country by cars or airplanes. Unlike traveling by railroad, traveling by automobile allowed people in the twentieth century to go places without being restricted to a schedule. As more people began driving cars, more people began living outside of big cities. Although there were not many major roads stretching across the country in the 1800s, there were a few. The National Road stretched from Maryland to Ohio by 1833.

How can there be a balance between development and damage to the environment?
timurjin [86]

Answer:

The economy is, of course, based on the environment. If the environment is not protected, then in the long run the economy will pay the price.

The question of “balance” is actually a false question. The question really should be, how should we protect the environment so that we can continue to enjoy a good economy?

According to ___________ theory, gender roles in children are learned through reinforcement, punishment, and modeling.
ratelena [41]

Answer:social learning theory,

Explanation: According to social learning theory, by Albert Bandura (1977) which agrees with what is stated in classical conditioning and operant conditioning , we learn through responding to social stimuli and by observing the surrounding environment

The child learns through observing the behavior that is modeled and by imitating the same behavior in the future. Secondly , the likelihood of the child imitating the behavior is dependent on whether the behavior was reinforced or punished. If the consequences of imitating a model's behavior was Punishment it is likely that the behavior will not continue, however if the behavior was rewarded it is very likely that it will continue. Reinforcement can be an approval from the parents and that is external reinforcement and when the child feels happy about being rewarded that is an internal reinforcement.
