Radiation is the primary way that heat travels in space. That means that heat is not spread out through the medium it travels through as on Earth.

Heat can be transferred from one place to another by three methods: conduction in solids, convctn in fluids, and radiation through anything that will allow radiation to pass. The method is used to transfer the heat is usually the one that is the most efficient
