a deposit of $1,644.50;checks written for $190, $45, and $7.50;  and debit card transactions for $30, $5.59, $7.20, and $21.30.

amount deposited = 1644.50

debit card transactions for $30, $5.59, $7.20, and $21.30.

We add all the debit card transactions

30 + 5.59 + 7.20 + 21.30 =64.09

checks written for $190, $45, and $7.50

Add all the check written amounts

190 + 45 + 7.50=242.5

To find ending balance , we subtract the debit card transactions and check written from the deposit amount

1644.50 - 64.09 - 242.5 = 1337.91

$1,337.91 is the ending balance for this time frame

This table shows numbers of sweets in some tubes, but a coffee stain has deleted one of the figures.
svlad2 [7]
To get the answer, you need to think of it like a see-saw.
Both sides must equal the same relative to 33.5. For example, 32 is 1.5 away from 33.5 so you could say you have 1.5*4 (because theres 4 tubes with 32 sweets). If you were to do this for the whole table, it would look something like this:

(1.5*4)+(0.5*x)=(0.5*9)+(1.5*1)+(2.5*1)

This simplifies to:

6+0.5x=8.5
0.5x=2.5
x= \frac{2.5}{0.5}
x=5

This method can sometimes be inefficient depending on how many values but is probably the simplest way to solve this problem.

hope this helps :)

(sorry the other way is kinda hard to explain possibly ask your teacher tomorrow)

Solve for X, will mark brainliest if right
Vitek1552 [10]

Answer:

<u>x = 8</u>

Step-by-step explanation:

The sides are in proportion.

  • \frac{RG}{FG} =\frac{SH}{FH}
  • 40 / 7x + 14 = 44 / 33 + 44
  • 40 / 7x + 14 = 44/77 = 4/7
  • 40(7) = 4(7x + 14)
  • 280 = 28x + 56
  • 10 = x + 2
  • <u>x = 8</u>
