A) 2d + 3 = 11 → 2d = 8 → d = 4, this is right

B) 11d + 15 → this is an expression, so no

C) 5d + 7 = 27 → 5d = 20 → d = 4, this is right

D) 9 + 2d = 16 → 2d = 7 → d = 3.5, this isn't right

E) 3d = 7 → d = 2.3, this isn't right

That means the answers are A and C

Hope this helps!!

A. 2 • 4 = 8 + 3 = 11 (select)

B. 11 • 4 = 44 +15 = 59 (select only if the solution is 59; the answer was not included)

C. 5 • 4 = 20 + 7 = 27 (select)

D. 2 • 4 = 8 + 9 = 17 (do not select)

E. 3 • 4 = 12 (do not select)

This is like the equivalent to a jar with 4 green balls and 6 white balls, where you are picking 3. (The 4 green balls signify the friends from kindergarten.)

You want to solve the probability that the first two balls are green and the third is white.
First draw --> 4 green out of 10 balls --> 4/10 = 2/5

Second draw --> 3 green out of 9 balls --> 3/9 = 1/3

Third draw --> 6 white out of 8 balls --> 6/8 = 3/4

2/5 x 1/3 x 3/4

= 6/60

= 1/10

so the answer is 1/10 (or 10%)

Answer:

One of the angles in the triangle might be 50.

AND

The length of the third side must be 11cm or smaller.

Step-by-step explanation:

-The triangle might be an equilateral triangle (having all the same sides and angles). False, since the triangle sum theorem states that all angles inside of a triangle must add up to 180, so an equilateral triangle would need to have all three angles at 60 degrees.

-One of the angles in the triangle must be 120 (false; it can be anything above 90, which is not only 120)

-The length of the third side must be 11cm or smaller. (True, Triangle Inequality Theorem)

-One of the angles in the triangle might be 50 (possibly, so very much true)
