Emotional maturity is the act whereby someone was able to balance the thought processes of his thereby being able to take decision that would benefit him and the society at large. This is dependent on the growth development of soemone. A 10 year old person emotional maturity would definetly differs from someone of 30 years.
This stablization of an individual life as a result of his emotional maturity makes him to be able to weigh his options before taking a decision. This decision would definitely be useful to him rather than being harmful.
