the economic problems that troubled the nation while Washington's presidency was national debt because of the revolutionary war also cause lots of bank and domestic policies like the tax on whiskey which created conflict between him and most of the us residence.

because of him being the first president it was hard for him to manage all the taxes and experience during the war. so he had Alexander Hamilton who was apart of the cabinet team he was like a financial secretary in the national debt department.
