Answer/Explanation:

The three components of attitude are:

1. Affective component: The affective component of an attitude relates to the feeling or emotion an individual has towards an object or something.

2. Behavioral component: This components has to deal with the way and manner one acts towards an object or something.

3. Cognitive component:  This component relates to the knowledge demonstrated by an individual in his attitude towards an object or something.

For example, analyzing the attitude of an individual towards the recent corona virus pandemic, a person's feeling of fear or sadness after learning about the virus is the affective component. If the individual finds out more info about how the virus spreads and how to prevent the spread using protective equipment like facemask, we can infer to this as the cognitive component of his attitude. If the individual takes further step in putting on mask and also maintaining social distance, we can refer to this as the behavioral component of his attitude toward the corona virus pandemic.
