The industrial revolution was a period in history when there was a rapid growth in the production of goods  with the aid of effective types of machinery.  The European Countries saw the impact that was made on the economy as a result of the revolution which made them sought for more goods and natural resources in Africa. The European Countries became very much interested in Africa because of the abundance of raw materials and natural resources it had to offer. They began to manufacture goods and export them to the European Countries.
