Answer:

As pressure decreases, density decreases

Explanation:

Pressure applied  on a given system is essentially the force acting per units area of that system. Volume occupied by  a system is inversely proportional to the pressure.  As pressure is decreased the volume tends to increase.

Density is another property of matter which is inversely related to the volume.

i.e. Density = \frac{Mass}{Volume}

Therefore, when mass of the system is constant, decreasing the pressure will increase the volume which would in turn decrease the density.

The thermal stability of group 2 hydroxides increases down the group ? give reasons
VladimirAG [237]

ANSWERS:

Group 2 metal carbonates, nitrates and hydroxides decompose to heat to give the corresponding metal oxide and release CO2, NO2 and O2, and H2O respectively. The thermal stability increases down the group as theionic character of the compounds increases down the group.

The gradual increase in earth's surface temperature over time is an example of a data trend. True or False?
SVEN [57.7K]
Global warming refers to the gradual increase in the earth's temperature over time. Global Warming is a controversial topic because some have argued that it is merely a transitory phenomenon and is not supported by scientific evidence.
