In the question, it is given that, Zayne has a bag filled with coins. the bag contains 7 quarters, 8 dimes, 3 nickels, and 9 pennies.. he randomly chooses a coin from the bag.

Probability of selecting quarter is

\frac{7}{27}

And probability of selecting nickel is

\frac{3}{27}

So to find the probability of selecting quarter or a nickel is the sum of the two probabilities, that is

\frac{7}{27}+ \frac{3}{27} = \frac{10}{27}

Quarter: 7/27
nickel: 3/27=1/9
the 27 came from adding the amount of coins
7+8+3+9=27

Sally Jones had a policy with a $250 deductible which paid 80% of her covered charges less deductible. She had medical expenses

Answer

Find out the  insurance company's payment .

To proof

Deductible

The deductible is the amount of money you will pay in an insurance claim before the company starts paying you insurance coverage .

As given

Sally Jones had a policy with a $250 deductible which paid 80% of her .covered charges less deductible

She had medical expenses of $18,240.00.

Amount becomes after deducting deductible = $18,240 -  $250

                                                                                   = $17990

80 % is written in the decimal form

now 80% of the Amount after deducting deductible

= $ 14392

Therefore $ 14392 is the insurance company's payment .

Answer:

to get the area of a circle, you do pie times radius squaared, so we divide 4 to get the radius. so 2*2 is the radius squared,so now we just times 4 by 3.14= 12.56

so the area= 12.56 inches!

Hi. 45 minutes out of 60 min is 3/4 of an hour. multiply 3/4 by 14 and you have 10 1/2 hours. 28 hrs - 10 1/2 is 17 1/2 hours. multiply by 60 and you have:

1050 min.
