Mathematics

Answer:

No, You can't. You have to make their denominators equal!

-\frac{7}{10}

Step-by-step explanation:

So first, you make their denominators equal!

\frac{1*2}{5*2} =\frac{2}{10}=\frac{1}{5}

Multiplying both the numerator and denominator with the same number results in the same fraction, just un-simplified

So, we input it!

\frac{2}{10} -\frac{9}{10} = -\frac{7}{10}

There you go!

Hope you get better at math!(gets wayyyyyyyyyyy...y more complicated later)

Hope this helps!

See Ya!

P.S. Stay Safe!

Answer: it would end up being 2/10-9/10 which is -7/10. If you meant it the other way around then it's 7/10.

Step-by-step explanation: with unlike denominators you can't do anything until they're alike. So you would find the least common denominator of both denominators which in this case would be 10. Since we already have one denominator of 10 we have to make the other denominator 10 if we want to continue with the equation. To make the denominator 10 you multiply it by two. You also have to multiply the numerator by 2 because of the balance rule " what you do to the bottom, you must do the top" and vice versa. Anyways that's how you get your answer. Hope this helped!!!

The graph of the even function F(X) Has 5 x-intercepts if (6,0) is the one of the intercepts what set of points can be the other
alex41 [277]

f(x) being even means

f(x) = f(-x)

So the zeros come in positive and negative pairs. If there are an odd number of intercepts like there are here, it's because one of them is x=0 which is its own negation.

Given zero x=6 we know x=-6 is also a zero.

So we know three zeros, and know the other two zeros are a positive and negative pair.

The only choice with (-6,0) and (0,0) is A.

Choice A
