Let, Price of a shirt = x
Price of a Jeans = y

Equations would be: 4x + 3y = 150
x + 2y = 70
x = 70-2y

Substitute it into first equation,
4(70-2y) + 3y = 150
280 - 8y + 3y = 150
-5y = -130
y = 130/5
y = 26

Substitute it into 2nd equation,
x + 2(26) = 70
x = 70-52
x = 18

So, Cost of a Shirt = $18  &  Cost of a Jeans = $26

Hope this helps!

Find the square root of 3.6 upto 2 decimal places. *With Solution I need*
almond37 [142]

Answer:

The square root is 1.90

Step-by-step explanation:

Given

x = \sqrt{3.6}

Required

Find x

Express 3.6 as 36/10

So, we have:

x = \frac{\sqrt{36}}{\sqrt{10}}

This gives

x = \frac{6}{\sqrt{10}}

Rationalize

x = \frac{6}{\sqrt{10}}*\frac{\sqrt{10}}{\sqrt{10}}

x = \frac{6\sqrt{10}}{10}

Using a calculator

\sqrt{10} \approx 3.16

So, we have:

x = \frac{6*3.16}{10}

x = \frac{18.96}{10}

x = 1.896

Approximate

x = 1.90

What units could you use to measure the height of a hexagonal prism?
LenaWriter [7]
The answer is centimeters (cm)

Height is 1D dimension so we cannot use cm^2 or cm^3 to measure some distance. With cm^2 we measure surface (because surface is 2D that is why it has this ^2 next to cm) and cm^3 is unit for measuring volume (volume is 3D it has height, width and thickness that is why it has ^3)
cm^4 cannot be the answer since there is no more than 3 dimensions.

If CB =3(x+8) and AD= 4(x+3), find AB
kkurt [141]

CD=CA+AB+BD

AB=CD-CA-BD

AB=CD-BD-BD

AB=CD-2.BD

AB=CD-2(BC+CD)

AB=CD-2BC-2CD

AB=-(CD+2BC)

AB=-{98-6(x+8)}

AB= 6x-50
