Let, Price of a shirt = x
Price of a Jeans = y

Equations would be: 4x + 3y = 150
x + 2y = 70
x = 70-2y

Substitute it into first equation,
4(70-2y) + 3y = 150
280 - 8y + 3y = 150
-5y = -130
y = 130/5
y = 26

Substitute it into 2nd equation,
x + 2(26) = 70
x = 70-52
x = 18

So, Cost of a Shirt = $18  &  Cost of a Jeans = $26

Hope this helps!

List any restrictions on the domain for the equation <img src="https://tex.z-dn.net/?f=%20%5Cfrac%7Bx%2B9%7D%7Bx%2B2%7D%20" id="
frez [133]
For a fraction, if the denominator turns to 0, the fraction becomes undefined, and therefore, that's a restriction on a rational.

now, what values of "x" makes the denominator 0?  let's check,

x+2 = 0

x = -2

so, if "x" ever becomes -2, then you'd get

\bf \cfrac{x+9}{x+2}\implies \cfrac{x+9}{-2+2}\implies \implies \cfrac{-2+9}{-2+2}\implies \stackrel{und efined}{\cfrac{7}{0}}

so, the domain, or values "x" can take on safely, are any real numbers EXCEPT -2.

Answer:

Slope = -2

Step-by-step explanation:

Given the two points, (-4, 10) and (0, 2), the error in the given problem is the incorrect substitution of values into the formula. It should have been formatted as follows:

Let (x₁, y₁) = (-4, 10)

    (x₂, y₂) = (0, 2)

The formula for solving for the slope of the line is:

m = (y₂ - y₁)/(x₂ - x₁)

where <em>m</em><em> </em>represents the <u>slope</u> of the line.

Substitute the given values into the formula to solve for the slope:

m = (y₂ - y₁)/(x₂ - x₁)

m = \frac{2 - 10}{0 - (-4)}

m = \frac{-8}{0  + 4 }

m = -8/4

m = -2

Therefore, the slope of the line is -2.

Of the songs in ivan's music library, 4/5 are rock songs. of the rock songs, 3/4 feature a guitar solo. what fraction of the son
BigorU [14]

In this case this "of" means we will multiply the two fractions "4/5 × 3/4" exists 3/5.

<h3>What are fractions?</h3>

That operation exists utilized to 'simplify' a fraction (reduce it to lower terms).

When there exists no number that goes into both the top and bottom numbers, then the fraction is in simplest form (lowest terms).

We are looking for 4/5 of 3/4. In this case this "of" means we will multiply the two fractions. To multiply fractions, we multiply

top × top and bottom × bottom

4/5 × 3/4 exists 4 × 3 on top and 5 × 4 on the bottom.

= (4 × 3)/(5 × 4)

= 12 / 20

= 3 / 5

Therefore, the correct answer is 3/5.
