Answer:

a. Utilization= 30%

Efficiency= 42.85%

b. Utilization= 33.33%

Efficiency=40%

c. . Based on the calculations , the utilization will tend to relied on the design capacity and it may vary accordingly.

Explanation:

a. Calculation to Determine the utilization and efficiency for each

Calculation for utilization

Using this formula

Utilization = (Actual Output/Design Capacity)*100

Let plug in the formula

Utilization= (3/10)*100

Utilization= 30%

Using this formula to calculate for efficiency

Let plug in the formula

Efficiency = (Actual Output/Effective Capacity)*100

Efficiency= (3/7)*100

Efficiency= 42.85%

b. Calculation for utilization

Using this formula

Utilization = (Actual Output/Design Capacity)*100

Let plug in the formula

Utilization= (2/6)*100

Utilization= 33.33%

Using this formula to calculate for efficiency

Let plug in the formula

Efficiency = (Actual Output/Effective Capacity)*100

Efficiency= (2/5)*100

Efficiency=40%

c. In a situation where the design capacity is High this means that there is likelyhood that the utilization could be lesser despite the efficiency was high.

Therefore based on the above calculations , the utilization will tend to relied on the design capacity and it may vary accordingly.

The correct answer would be, The Law of Demand.

Prices are much higher than formerly. Siemienas says, 'Yes my prices are high, if nobody buys, i bring my prices down. This is the market rule'. This rule best describes The Law of Demand.

Explanation:

In the field of economics, there are two basic concepts of Demand and Supply.

According to The Law of Demand, When the price of the good or service increases, the demand for that product or service decreases, and if price of the good or service decreases, the demand for that product or service increases, keeping all other factors constant.

So this is what Siemienas says that if the demand for his product will decrease, he will decrease the price of the product in order to maintain the sales of his company.

Stels [109]

Answer:

a. Increased consumption , which shifts the aggregate-demand curve right.

Explanation:

When there is a boom in stockmarket which makes people wealthier, people's consumption would increase because of the desire and availability of money to purchase goods, which results in demand curve shifting right.

The boom in the stockmarket means people investment has appreciated hence are able to save and increase their consumption spending.

A shift in demand curve to the right means an increase in the quantity demand of goods and services while a shift in demand curve left means a decrease in the quantity demand of goods and services.

Other factor that could cause increased consumption and shifts in aggregate demand curve right is tax decrease. Tax is a compulsory levy imposed on an individual or an organization by the government.

When there is a tax decrease, people would be able to save more thus increase their desire to consume more hence demand curve would shift to the right.
