In a triangle, all of the angle should add up to 180*. so we would have to ade up all the angles.

4x+25+30+25=180

4x+80 = 180

Subtract 80 from both sides...

4w=100

Divide both sides by 4...

x=25
The value of x is 25 and the measure of y is 125.

Because all the angles in a triangle must add up to 180 degrees, we can set the sum of the angles to 180
(4W-6) +W +W=180
6W-6=180
6W=186
W=31

Hope this helps!

The first term of a geometric sequence is 32, and the 5th term of the sequence is 818 .
sammy [17]

Answer:

32,24,18,\frac{27}{2} ,\frac{81}{8}

Step-by-step explanation:

Let x, y , and z be the numbers.

Then the geometric sequence is 32,x,y,z,\frac{81}{8}

Recall that  term of a geometric sequence  are generally in the form:

a,ar,ar^2,ar^3,ar^4

This implies that:

a=32 and ar^4=\frac{81}{8}

Substitute a=32 and solve for r.

32r^3=\frac{81}{8}

r^4=\frac{81}{256}

Take the fourth root to get:

r=\sqrt[4]{\frac{81}{256} }

r=\frac{3}{4}

Therefore x=32*\frac{3}{4} =24

y=24*\frac{3}{4} =18

z=18*\frac{3}{4} =\frac{27}{2}

c)  Stat  --> Basic Statistics ----> Paired t. then select samples 1 , 2 to get the required output

d) Not enough data

Step-by-step explanation:

<u>Using values found in MINITAB 19 </u>

a) The samples are dependent and this is because the title of the test is the same ( i.e. A group of students given the LSAT )

<u>b) Appropriate hypothesis</u>

H0: µd = 0

Ha: µd > 0

<u>c) The Minitab procedure to be used to test the hypothesis is </u>

click on Stat  --> Basic Statistics ----> Paired t. then select samples 1 , 2 to get the required output

d) Not enough data to create a probability plot

A building 50 feet high casts a shadow 68 feet long. Find the measure of the angle of elevation of the sun. Round answer to near
Vedmedyk [2.9K]

Answer:

36 °

Step-by-step explanation:

In this case a rectangular triangle is formed so we can use the trigonometric functions to calculate the angle, they give us the value of the two legs, therefore we can apply the tangent function.

Tan A ° = opposite / adjacent

replacing:

Tan A ° = 50/68

Tan A ° = 0.735

A ° = arc tan (0.735)

A ° = 36.32

Which means that the angle of inclination is 36°
