What does topography show?
muminat

Answer:

I. The landforms such as valleys, volcanoes, hill, plateau, etc., in a geographical area or region.

II. The shape of the land.

Explanation:

In Geography, topography can be defined as the shape and structure of the Earth surface. Thus, a topographic map is used to graphically describe this features.

A topographic map can be defined as an accurate and detailed graphical (two-dimensional) description, representation or records of both natural and man-made (artificial) features on the surface of the Earth.

A topographic map is a two-dimensional model that uses contour lines to represent points of equal elevation above sea level such as mountains, hills, plains, valley etc.

The two-dimensional model of a topographic map graphically represents the height of a mount and the steepness of a slope through the use of contour lines.

Contours can be defined imaginary lines used for connecting locations that are having similar elevations on the Earth's surface.

Hence,a topography show two (2) main things and these includes;

I. The landforms such as valleys, volcanoes, hill, plateau, etc., in a geographical area or region.

II. The shape of the land.

siniylev [52]
The correct answer to the question above is cytoskeleton. Microtubules, microfilaments, and intermediate filaments make up the cytoskeleton, which lies beneath the plasma membrane and provides support, movement, and shape for the cell. These structures definitely form cytoskeleton for the support and structure.

Some organisms undergo asexual reproduction through mitosis, while others reproduce sexually, and their cells undergo meiosis to
Sav [38]
The answer is A. Meiosis: It increases genetic variation, which helps ensure the species will survive.

Meiosis increases genetic variation. This means there is a great variety of genotypes among the population. Hence, there are organisms able to survive in a wider range of temperature. If there were drastic changes in temperature in an ecosystem, some of the organisms will survive because their genotype allows them to live in such conditions. If there were no variety thanks to meiosis, all of the organisms would die. And that is not beneficial to a species.
Imagine on the other hand that mitosis occurred. Mitosis does not provide a variety of genotypes and all of the organism will be the same. If there were drastic changes in temperature in an ecosystem, all of the organisms would die because all of them could respond to the change in the same way.

Moving from the equator towards the poles allows you to cross through different ecosystems, which can also occur if?
Tju [1.3M]

Answer:

C. You cross from the western to eastern hemisphere

Explanation:

I believe this is the most reasonable answer but the question is a little confusing. If it is asking how to travel through different ecosystems then C is the most reasonable as A would only change the temperature and sometimes change the weather. B would keep you underwater all the time and you can't really switch ecosystems unless you got out. D, your staying in one ecosystem when climbing a mountain.

Hope this helps :)

What process occurs after a forest fire wipes out an entire ecosystem? What is this process called? What are the steps of this p
ad-work [718]
The secondary succession is triggered by a natural event (forest fires for example) that destroys an established ecosystem. The destroyed forest will then undergo a regrowth process. This secondary growth may look bizarrely different from the way how the original forest used to look like. There are several stages involved after the forest os being burned. The first stage involves the colonization of massively burned places by plants and fungi. The following stage starts when minuscule plants such as grasses dwell in the forest. And then, huge plants that require lots of direct sunlight will move in. Lastly, new trees will continuously grow up to a point where they makeup a forest that remains in time except there are major interventions.
