Answer;

A. Warm air rises and takes heat with it; eventually it cools and sinks

Explanation;

 • Heat transfer involves exchange of heat or thermal energy between two systems, such that heat flows from the system with higher temperature to the one with low temperature.
 • Convection is one of the three types of heat transfer, others being conduction and radiation.
 • Convection involves heat transfer in fluids. Heat is transferred by mass motion of a fluid such as water or air when heated and caused to move away from the heat source carrying thermal energy with it.

Good afternoon everyone Umm What is refraction of light hope it's easy good day ✌️
jeyben [28]
Refraction is the bending of light (it also happens with sound, water and other waves) as it passes from one transparent substance into another. This bending by refraction makes it possible for us to have lenses, magnifying glasses, prisms and rainbows.

Here you go, and i hope you have a good day too :)

This was simulation. What are some variables that this peppered moths simulation does not address?
Hoochie [10]

Answer:

The simulation only shows how a population can change overtime in response to the changes in the environment. During the industrial revolution, one particular phenotype of moths had an advantage over the other and hence, was subjected to natural selection. What this simulation does not tell us is the causality and correlation aspect of the change that occurs in the moths. Correlation does not equal causation, and the simulation does not shed any light on these variables in this case.

Suggest an intracellular regulatory molecule (from your text) that growth factors might stimulate to control cell division. Plea
vlabodo [156]

Answer:

E2F transcription factors

Explanation:

The E2F transcription factors (TFs) encode intracellular factors associated with the control of the cell cycle. E2F are TFs that bind to promoter consensus sequences in order to activate transcription. These TFs control the expression of target genes involved in cell proliferation including, among others, genes for DNA replication and mitotic activation. Moreover, the E2F proteins also may act as a link between cell fate and the cell cycle. The retinoblastoma (Rb) is a protein that modulates the activity of the E2F family of TFs, and it has been shown that the Rb/E2F pathway is a key molecular mechanism associated with cell proliferation.
