Answer:

1) y = (-13/6)x + (37/3)

2) -⅔

3) negative

Step-by-step explanation:

1) slope = (1.5-8)/(5-2) = -13/6

y = (-13/6)x + c

x = 2, y = 8

8 = (-13/6)(2) + c

c = 37/3

y = (-13/6)(6) + (37/3) = -⅔

2) y = (-13/6)x + (37/3)

3) since the slope is negative, the association between the variables is negative

Helpppppppp asap please with calculations pls pls pls

Answer:

For the first one it is y = -5x because for it to be direct it can't have a b-intercept. it must start at 0.

Second question: y2 - y1/x2 - x1

13-(-8)/(-4)-3

21/(-7)

-3 is the slope

y= -3x + b

13 = -3(-4) + b

13 = 12 + b

12 - 13 = b

b = -1

y=-3x-1

0 = -3x - 1

1 = -3x

1/-3 = -3x/-3

x= -1/3

y=-3x-1

y=-3(0)-1

y= -1

The answer to the 3rd question is y = 1x + 2 because the rise over run is one and the line crosses the y-intercept at 2.

I am not sure if these answers are correct.

If you know trig please help! Will give brainliest!

Answer:

sin^2α

Step-by-step explanation:

I will just  pose  x instead  of alpha  here to make things simpler

\tan ^2\left(x\right)\left(2\cos ^2\left(x\right)+\sin ^2\left(x\right)-1\right)\\\\

we know that sin^2x = 1 -  cos^2x so...

=\left(-1+1-\cos ^2\left(x\right)+2\cos ^2\left(x\right)\right)\tan ^2\left(x\right)

=\cos ^2\left(x\right)\tan ^2\left(x\right)

we can rewrite using trigonometric identities (tan = sin/cos)...

=\left(\frac{\sin \left(x\right)}{\cos \left(x\right)}\right)^2\cos ^2\left(x\right)\\= \sin ^2\left(x\right)

Jeremy is making a cube using blocks. The cube is solid and has no holes. How many cubes did Jeremy use? A. 125 B. 75 C. 25 D. 1
maks197457 [2]
Well, Jeremy would have to use an amount of cubes that could make a <em>perfect square.</em> What would best fit this is 25, because it has a whole, complete square.
