Do you think all organisms rely on the Sun in part for energy ?
fredd [130]
No. Not all organisms. Because in a way fish are organisms and there are some that live way down in the deep dark water. And they cannot swim up to where the sun is or they would disintegrate. So the answer would be no, not all organisms depend on the sun for energy. Different organisms have different ways of getting energy.

Help help plz I give you brainliest and plz explain.
Alex

Answer:

Animals are dependent for multiple reasons.

Explanation:

The energy is transferred to animals when they eat plants. They also need it because vitamin D is given when animals get sunlight on their bodies, building strong bones and healthy marrow. The same happens when they eat vitamin D-rich plants. Hope this is helpful!

Why do sodium ions need channels in order to move into and out in f cells?
murzikaleks [220]

Answer:

Firstly they are too big to pass through the natural pores of the cell membrane the way water molecules do through aquaporins. Secondly, they would not pass through the hydrophobic layer of the cell membrane because the sodium ions are charged. This is because the hydrophobic layer does not interact positively with charged molecules/ions. Additionally, because sodium ions would be traveling up the concentration gradient into the cell, there is need for active transport. The channels proteins are able to harness energy from ATP to actively transport the sodium ions into the cell.
