Answer : The The correct option is, If there is energy lost in the collision to sound, heat, etc., the collision is inelastic.

Explanation :

  • Elastic collision : It is defined as in which there is no loss of kinetic energy in the collision.
  • Inelastic collision : It is defined as in which there is a loss of kinetic energy in the collision and this energy changed to another form of energy.

If the collision involves bouncing, it is inelastic because kinetic energy is not conserved.

If the collision involves sticking together, it is inelastic because kinetic energy is not conserved, it is changes to potential energy.

Explain the role of bacteria in the nitrogen cycle
Oksanka [162]

Bacteria is important because this bacteria binds hydrogen molecules with the gaseous nitrogen to form ammonia in the soil.  During assimilation, or when plants take up nitrates from the soil, bacteria aid in the process with the plants in making ammonia. Animal wastes is also a major place where bacteria thrives and produces ammonia. The process in which assimilation occurs in plants, and then bacteria converts the nitrates to ammonia is called ammonification.  From the conversion of ammonia to nitrites, bacteria also aids in this process called nitrification. The nitrifying bacteria mostly present in soils, oxidize ammonia into nitrites, and from nitrites to nitrates.

Finally, the process of denitrification also has bacteria present to aid in converting nitrates back into a gaseous form of nitrogen in the atmosphere.

What evidence do you consider to be the most significant and convincing support for human evolution? Today there is one species
UNO [17]

Answer:

The history of the human evolution can be studied by the fossil and DNA evidence. The similarities and advancement in certain characters has revealed the human evolution.

Different evidences like change in the diet, locomotion, brain size, walking ability as compared with the present species and species appeared 6 million years ago. The human genetics evidence and different paintings explain the culture of earlier homo species. The H. sapiens species has highly advance character that help them to survive than any other hominid species. The neanderthals extinction might occur due to their aggressive behavior, low social ability and their large cranial size.
