If it happens now, it won't happen later; and if it doesn't happen now, it will happen later; so the important thing is to be prepared.

In this sense it is possible to understand that he says it doesn't matter what time it will happen, the person must be well prepared for when it will actually happen. However, for the events in our lives we can never predict all of them or when they will come, happen, it is important to know how to deal with them when the time comes.

What type of behavior leads to formation of traditions?
melisa1 [442]
This is The Social Learning. This type of learning occurs when we see and imitate behaviors performed by others around us. Learning becomes stronger if the imitated behavior is also reinforced through praise or rewards when doing it. Over time the behavior will no longer be imitated, if not adhered to as one's own. This usually happens with traditions.

At the age of 33, Ricky is a senior partner in a law firm. He lives alone in his apartment and does not find the time to sociali
d1i1m1o1n [39]

Answer:

b) Ricky's need for belongingness is not being met.

Explanation:

Maslow proposed a theory based on a hierarchy of needs, this hierarchy is often depicted as hierarchical levels within a pyramid.

According to Maslow, needs lower down in the hierarchy need to be satisfied in order to focus in needs that are higher up in the pyramid.

The needs are:

 1. Physiological: refer to biological needs for human survival (food, warmth, sleep, etc)
 2. Safety needs: refer to protection from elements (security, order, stability)
 3. Love and belongingness needs: These has to do with the need for interpersonal relationships. (friendship, intimacy, love)
 4. Esteem needs: these needs refer to the need for respect or reputation (achievement, mastery, status).
 5. Self-actualization needs: Refer to realizing one own's potential and self-fulfillment. "To become everything one is capable of becoming"

According to the example, Ricky has a lavish home with an elaborate security system and he owns a luxurious car. We can see that his safety needs (security) are being met.

Also since he is a senior partner in a law firm with a luxurious car, we can say that his esteem needs are being met too (achievement, status).

However, he lives alone and does not find the time to socialize, thus, there are no real interpersonal relationships in his life.

We can conclude, based on this that Ricky's belongingness needs are not being fulfilled and this could explain his discontentment with life.
