Answer:

Step-by-step explanation:

Alright, lets get started.

Please refer the diagram I have attached.

There will be 8 triangles made.

The center angle will be = \frac{360}{8}=45

The triangle will be formed an isosceles triangle, so remaining angle will be :

\frac{180-45}{2}=67.5

sin 67.5=\frac{opposite}{5}

opposite= CD = 5sin67.5=4.6194

Similarly,

adjacent = BD = 5cos67.5=1.9134

The complete AB will be = 2*1.9134=3.8268

Area of triangle ABC will be = \frac{1}{2}*base*height = \frac{1}{2}*3.8268*4.6194=8.838

So, the area of octagon will be 8 times area of this triangle.

Area of octagon will be = 8*8.838=70.70

Hence are the area of octagon is  70.70 :   Option D  :   Answer

Hope it will help :)

Answer:

I believe the answer is 540* because

Step-by-step explanation:

we start with the fractions, we have 3/4 and 1/4 which makes a whole, to make it easier i added that to 329 to get 330. Then i added 330 to 210 to get 540.

. There are 11 boys and 5 girls that tried out to
Lisa [10]

We want to find the probability that the two students chosen for the duet are boys. We will find that the probability that both students chosen for the duet are boys is 0.458

If we assume that the selection is totally random, then all the students have the same<em> </em><em>probability </em><em>of being chosen.</em>

This means that, for the first place in the duet, the probability of randomly selecting a boy is equal to the quotient between the number of boys and the total number of students, this is:

P = 11/16

For the second member of the duet we compute the probability in the same way, but this time there is one student less and one boy less (because one was already selected).

Q = 10/15

The joint probability (so both of these events happen together) is just the product of the individual probabilities, this will give:

Probability = P*Q = (11/16)*(10/15) = 0.458

So the probability that both students chosen for the duet are boys is 0.458

You have 32 foot long fence there are 4 equal sections you paint 1/3 of on section what fraction of the fence did you paint
zheka24 [161]
2/32. Divide 32 by 4 to equal 8, and then divide 8 by 3 because that’s how much you painted, a third of a fourth
