You can reduce them, as they are divisible,
Just cancel one zero from each, it would be = 20/100 = 2/10
Still you can reduce them by dividing from 2, it would be = 2/10 = 1/5

In short, Your Answers can be: 1/5, 2/10, 10/50

Hope this helps!

If 20 were added to each of the vlaues in a data set that originally had a standard deviation of 8, the standard deviation of th
Nitella [24]

Answer:

False (I assume it's a true/false question)

Step-by-step explanation:

Standard deviation measures how spread out the data is.  If you add 8 to all the data values, the distribution of data moves to the right (on a graph) 8 units. The shifted data are no more and no less spread out than before.  The standard deviation does not change.

What is the next fraction in each of the following patterns?1/40,4/40,9/40,16/40,25/40...?
tresset_1 [31]
Let
a1=1/40
a2=4/40
a3=9/40
a4=16/40
a5=25/40
a6=?

we know that
a2-a1=4/40-1/40----> 3/40
a3-a2=9/40-4/40-----> 5/40
a4-a3=16/40-9/40----> 7/40
a5-a4=25/40-16/40---> 9/40

the difference is
3/40,5/40,7/40.9/40,....
3/40+[2/40]---> 5/40
5/40+[2/40]---> 7/40
7/40+[2/40]---> 9/40

the next will be
9/40+[2/40]-----> 11/40
so
the next term is 25/40+[11/40]------> 36/40

the answer is
36/40
