As it penetrates the eyeball, light first passes through the cornea, a transparent tissue that covers the anterior part of our eye similar to the glass of a watch. Following its path, the light now passes through the aqueous humor, reaching the iris-shaped pupil that functions like a diaphragm, immediately reaching the lens that acts as a focusing lens, then converging the light rays to a point on the retina. .

In the retina, over one hundred million photosensitive (light-sensitive) cells transform light into impulses conducted to the brain through the optic nerve. It is in the visual cortex, located in the back of the brain, where the processing of images received by our two eyes occurs, composing our "visual sensation".

Rama09 [41]

Answer:

A. Contact the provider to discuss an order for pretreatment laboratory work.

Explanation:

The drug manual indicates that this drug should be given with caution to elderly patients. Getting information about liver function before giving the drug establishes baseline data that can be compared with post-treatment data to determine whether the drug is affecting the liver. Giving the correct dose at the correct interval helps to minimize risk, but without baseline information, the effects cannot be determined. The drug is not contraindicated.
