Answer:

Perimeter of triangle is 38 inches

Step-by-step explanation:

Figure show triangle with sides of (21-x), (2x-3)and(x+5)

Here, The pool balls are arranged in triangle in symmetry.

Hence, Triangle is equilateral triangle.

For equilateral triangle,

Sides are equal in length (21-x) = (2x-3) = (x+5)

Take (2x-3) = (x+5)

2x-3=x+5

2x-x=5+3

x=8.

Now,Perimeter of triangle is summation of all of the sides.

= (21-x) + (2x-3) + (x+5)

= (21-8) + (2(8)-3) + (8+5)

= 13 + (16-3) +12

= 13+13+12

= 26+12

= 38 inches

PLEASE GIVE AN EXPLANATION WITH YOUR ANSWER! The table below shows the change in the value of shares over the last three years.
gulaghasi [49]

First, lets convert them into multipliers:

The multiplier for a:

                             25% increase = 1.25

                             40% decrease = 0.6

                             40% increase  = 1.4

Now to work out the overall percentage change, we just times all of the multipliers together, and convert it back to a percentage:

1.25 x 0.6 x 1.4 = 1.05

So the overall multiplier is 1.05

And a multiplier of 1.05 = a 5% increase.

That means that the percentage change is + 5%

what is the circumference of a circle that has a radius of 8 units use 3.14 (pie) and round to the nearest hundredth
SashulF [63]

Remember that the formula for the circumference, C, of a circle is:

C = d \pi

In this case, we are not given the diameter. However, remember that the diameter is equivalent to two times the radius of a circle. Thus,

d = 2 \cdot 8 = 16,

and we can say the circumference of our circle is:

C = 16 \cdot 3.14 = 50.24 \,\textrm{units}

The circumference of our circle is 50.24 units.

Also, a little side note not relating to the question:

Remember that \pi is spelled as "pi" not "pie." Pie is a dessert, while pi is a mathematical constant.
