Where should there be a paragraph break in the following text? The concerts music was so loud. Everyone was looking at the band

so it was easy to blend in. I made my way through the packed crowd, said excuse me as I passed even though no one could hear me. (1.) In a few moments I made it to the back stage door. (2.) Once inside, it was much quieter and surprisingly unguarded. (3.) No one was there to see me steal the keys to the band’s tour bus. (4.) The fools!

Answer:

(1.) In a few moments, I made it to the backstage door.

Explanation:

Paragraph break is defined as the indentation or one line space between the two paragraphs for marking the division between them.

The paragraph break in the given text can be done after the second sentence and before the second sentence. It helps in signaling the transition from one idea to another for stretching the text and making the ideas more clear and precise. In the given paragraph, the paragraph break after the second line would provide a break to readers to shift from one idea to another which helps in a better understanding of the text. Thus, option 1 is the correct answer.

I Wandered Lonely as a Cloud
Zepler [3.9K]

Answer:

Explanation:

I wandered lonely as a Cloud

That floats on high o'er vales and Hills,

When all at once I saw a crowd,

A host, of golden Daffodils;

Beside the Lake, beneath the trees,

Fluttering and dancing in the breeze.

Continuous as the stars that shine

And twinkle on the milky way,

They stretched in never-ending line

Along the margin of a bay:

Ten thousand saw I at a glance,

Tossing their heads in sprightly dance.

The waves beside them danced; but they

Out-did the sparkling waves in glee:

A Poet could not but be gay

In such a jocund company:

I gazed—and gazed—but little thought

What wealth the show to me had brought:

For oft when on my couch I lie

In vacant or in pensive mood,

They flash upon that inward eye

Which is the bliss of solitude,

And then my heart with pleasure fills,

And dances with the Daffodils.

QUESTION:

What effect does the poetic form of “I Wandered Lonely as a Cloud” have on Wordsworth’s message? Describe the poetic form Wordsworth uses in the poem and explain how it affects the meaning. Your response should be one to two paragraphs.

Read the excerpt from the article, "Youth Activism and Animal Rights.”
Arada [10]

The narrator's sentiment toward the conditions of animals is the fictional element, as shown in the second answer option.

We can arrive at this answer because:

 • A fictional element presents a situation that does not or did not exist in real life, but was created by the author to represent a story.
 • According to the texts provided above, the second text is fiction, as it is a story created by someone.
 • The first text is a non-fiction text, as it shows a post about something real.
 • In this case, to find the fictional element, we must find the element that is presented in the second text and is not presented in the first one.

This element is the narrator's feelings provoked by the animals' conditions since the narrator is also a fictional element.
