I believe increased blood pressure indicates the presence pf pheochromocytoma. The increased blood pressure could be due to the increased production of catecholamines, indicating a lack of balance in the endocrine.  Pheochromocytoma is a neuroendocrine tumor of the medulla of the adrenal glands or extra-adrenal chromaffin tissue that failed to involute after birth, that secretes high amounts of catecholamines (norepinephrine or epinephrine).

Allow for the identification of many toxins in a small amount
lilavasa [31]

Answer:

O4) Screening tests

Explanation:

The screening test is used to make early detection of diseases in order to apply effective treatments. For example, a screening blood test enables the identification of toxins and/or drugs in the patient's system in a relatively low amount of time (generally 24 hours). This bioassay is used for the toxin determination of the effluent sample (i.e., a sample collected and analyzed to evaluate system performance) to the tested species. The screening test generally consists of applying two treatments (i.e., one effluent sample and one control).

Why does a new DNA strand elongate only in the 5' to 3' direction during DNA replication? (A) DNA polymerase begins adding nucle
Georgia [21]

A new DNA strand elongate only in the 5' to 3' direction during DNA replication because the  "polarity of the DNA molecule prevents addition of nucleotides at the 3' end" .

DNA replication occurs in the 5' to 3' direction. DNA polymerase can only add nucleotides to the 3' OH group of the growing DNA strand, this is why DNA replication occurs only in the 5' to 3' direction.

DNA polymerase can only add to the 3' end, so the 5' end of the primer remains unaltered. Consequently, synthesis proceeds immediately only along the so-called leading strand.

Hence, the correct answer will be option (B)
