A fertilized egg, or zygote, takes about five days to reach the uterus from the uterine tube. As it moves, the zygote divides and develops into a blastocyst, with an inner mass of cells and a protective outer ring. The blastocyst attaches to the wall of the uterus and gradually implants itself into the uterine lining.

A nurse is teaching a client with chronic obstructive pulmonary disease (COPD) who is being discharged after treatment for an ac
chubhunter [2.5K]

Answer: The correct answer to the question is option D

"Use your inhalers every day as directed even if symptoms are not present."

Explanation: Chronic Obstructive pulmonary disease (COPD) is characterised by a decrease in oxygen and increase in carbon dioxide so hypoxemia ( a low level of oxygen in the blood) and hypocapnia (abnormally elevated carbondioxide (CO2) level in the blood) are expected.

Inhalers used in COPD can contain either a single medication or a combination of ingredients. Bronchodilators open the airways, while glucocorticoids reduce inflammation.

Daily use of inhalers even when symptoms are not present helps reduce airway constriction so air can pass into your lungs more effectively as you breathe.

A person with COPD may also be instructed to use inhaler at scheduled times throughout the day and/or to also use an inhaler when there is a COPD exacerbation(sudden worsening of the COPD symptoms).

Tunnel-like extensions of the sarcolemma into a skeletal muscle fiber are called
Montano1993 [528]

Answer:

The correct answer will be option-C

Explanation:

T-tubules or transverse tubules are the extensions of the cell membrane or into the sarcoplasm of the muscle cells.

The T-tubules play an important role in the movement of the muscle in response to the synaptic signals as they conduct the electrical impulse from the surface of the cell to the inside of the sarcoplasmic reticulum which is the storehouse of the calcium ions of the muscle cell.

Thus, Option-C is the correct answer.
