Answer:

0.5 meters

Explanation:

W=Fd, where W is work, F is force, and d is distance.

5J=10N * x

x= 5J/10N=0.5m

Hope this helps!

You can use the formula of work: W= F * d
Substitute the knowns: 5J= 10 N * d
So you want the Distance(d) to by on its own side so you divide 10 N so 5/10 is 0.5 so the car would travel 0.5 meters

Which type of circuit has two or more branches for the current to flow through?
stiks02 [169]
Hello,

The answer is A. Parallel circuit.

Unlike a series circuit, these circuits allow currents to flow through multiple branches. An open circuit is an electrical current that is not valid, therefore there will be no current flow. A combination circuit, I believe, <span>is a </span>circuit<span> that is a blend of series paths and parallel paths.

5) What is meant by the term trough?
Vlad [161]

Answer:

upper part of any wave.

Explanation:

we normally define wave motion in term of movement of particles. compressions and rarefaction. rarefaction particles apart , and same as trough ( part of wave above mean line ).

You build a solenoid containing 500 windings over a 0.20-m length, with a loop radius of 0.025 m for each winding. the current i
marta [7]
The inductance of a solenoid is given by:
L= \frac{\mu_0 N^2 A}{l}
where
\mu_0 is the vacuum permeability
N is the number of turns of the solenoid
A is the area of one loop of the solenoid
l is its length

For the solenoid in our problem, N=500, and the radius of one loop is r=0.025 m, so the area of one loop is
A=\pi r^2 = \pi (0.025 m)^2 = 1.96 \cdot 10^{-3} m^2
and its length is l=0.20 m

So the inductance of the solenoid is
L= \frac{(4 \pi \cdot 10^{-7} NA^{-2})(500)^2(1.96 \cdot 10^{-3} m^2)}{ 0.20 m}=3.08 \cdot 10^{-3} H
