Answer:

0.5 meters

Explanation:

W=Fd, where W is work, F is force, and d is distance.

5J=10N * x

x= 5J/10N=0.5m

Hope this helps!

You can use the formula of work: W= F * d
Substitute the knowns: 5J= 10 N * d
So you want the Distance(d) to by on its own side so you divide 10 N so 5/10 is 0.5 so the car would travel 0.5 meters

hjlf

Answer: a) for 150 Angstroms 6.63 *10^-3 eV; b) for 5 Angstroms 6.02 eV

Explanation: To solve this problem we have to use the relationship given by De Broglie as:

λ =p/h where p is the momentum and h the Planck constant

if we consider the energy given by acceleration tube for the electrons given by: E: e ΔV so is equal to kinetic energy of electrons p^2/2m

Finally we have:

eΔV=p^2/2m= h^2/(2*m*λ^2)

replacing we obtained the above values.

At a certain instant, the earth, the moon, and a stationary 1160 kg spacecraft lie at the vertices of an equilateral triangle wh
Afina-wow [57]

Answer:

W = 1.22 \times 10^9 J

Explanation:

Initial potential energy of the given spacecraft is given as

U = -\frac{GM_e m}{r} - \frac{GM_m m}{r}

so we have

U = - \frac{Gm}{r}(M_e + M_m)

so we have

M_e = 5.98 \times 10^{24} kg

M_m = 7.35 \times 10^{22} kg

m = 1160 kg

r = 3.84 \times 10^8 m

U = - \frac{(6.67 \times 10^{-11})(1160)}{3.84 \times 10^8}(5.98 \times 10^{24} + 7.35 \times 10^{22})

U = -1.22 \times 10^9 J

now total work done to move it to infinite is given

W = 0 - U

W = 1.22 \times 10^9 J
